Guarantee

Unless otherwise stated, all babies come with a 72 hour health guarantee.  You are encouraged to have the bird examined by avian veterinarian of your choice within 72 hours from the time of purchase to verify the good health of the bird.  If during this 72 hour period the bird is found to have a condition which affects its health or well-being as determined by the examining avian veterinarian, upon verification of this condition to us and upon return of the bird to us.  We agree, at our sole discretion, to either refund the entire purchase price to you or to supply you with another bird of the same species, sex {if known} and age (as soon as one becomes available).  Kiwi’s Nest of Exotic Birds does not assume any liability for veterinary expenses you may incur.  No warranty or liability is expressed or implied in the case of injury or illness caused by the bird or birds to other pets or humans in the household. Purchasing the bird for us is your acceptance of this policy.

In the event you fail to have the bird examined by a avian veterinarian with 72 hours after purchase, then the sale is one of “as is” condition.  Failure to have the bird or birds examined by an avian veterinarian within the 72 hour period waives all warranties of health, fitness, merchantability of, personality trait and pet potential, whether express or implied.

The purpose of this warranty is to offer protection to the purchaser for a health problem that is not capable of being diagnosed at the time of sale.  If a condition is noted during the warranty period, please return the bird to Kiwi’s Nest of Exotic Birds reserves the right to take the bird to an avian veterinarian, of our choice, for further examination.  If our veterinarian determines the bird is unhealthy, ill or dead due to neglect, malnutrition, mistreatment, improper care, or injury sustained after purchase, no refund or replacement will be given.

We now sell to Mom & Pop Stores as well as other breeders out of the nest.  All unweaned babies are sold in "AS IS" condition there is NO warranty or liability expressed or implied to these baby birds.  We ship nationwide and are not responsible for any babies after drop off with Delta Airlines.
